In this talk Rachael will introduce the foundations of using molecular data (DNA) to gain insights into the evolutionary history of the arid zone genus Eremophila and its close relatives (Myoporum, Glycocystis and Bontia). Rachael will discuss how DNA can help guide species taxonomy and can inform our understanding how Australia’s arid zone formed and evolved.
